Well that takes care of my DURAN DURAN lyric quota for today.

The popular and well made RAH Crows X Worst series continues to grow and grow. This time we have Hanaki Guriko and Tessho looking as good as they always do. I gotta say this line continues to be more impressive with each passing figure. The scale, sculpt and clothing quality continue to be top notch and all that does is make me look forward to what else Medicom has in store for us.

Expect both of these RAH to be released mid 2008.

What a shocker, she's hot. "She" being the young, red headed (and you know how much I love my red heads), tough, courageous, Kallen Stadtfeld.

Now that that's been confirmed we can all move on with our lives.

(Overly dramatic title don't you think?)

Some guys can get away with being a little emo. Especially if that someone is playing host to an parasitic host from outer space.

It also doesn't hurt that said parasitic organism makes you look pretty damn cool. Sure you may end up bitch slapping the red head of your life but hey, at least you look good and like that old 80's proverb said "it's better to look good than to feel good.".

I've talked about this series a lot, I've even made a category for this series. Well I figure I'd make post up certain vids to help familiarize you guys with this series. I post up news about it but I don't I've ever posted video from the show itself.

Consider this your lucky day.

Maybe I go to far when I say I want Kodomo Band to sing at my wedding but I don't think I'm going to far when I say no one has done better music for the series than them (sorry Gackt). This here is my personal favorite opening of the show and I think it's the best opening the show ever had.

*Deep breath*

You know, some movies have great casting. Shia LaBeouf in Tranformers? Great casting. Christopher Reeve as Superman? Outstanding casting. Nick Cage as Ghost Rider? Stupid casting.

Justin Chatwin as Goku? Terrible casting*.

James Marsters as Piccolo? Man who cares at this point.

The only bright spot is Stephen Chow producing this movie. That literally is the only bright spot out of this production. The man isn't getting any younger and has been trying for years to get his foot into the Hollywood door so I can see why he'd attach his name to a US made Dragonball.

*And honestly did anyone expect them to cast someone Asian?

Anyway here in my opinion is one of the nicest looking releases of Code Geass merchandise out there. These are the EX Portraits trading figures from BANDAI. It's a great looking set fitting a great series.

Sure people hated the dancing emo scenes in Spider-Man 3. Personally I LOVED it. A geeky super hero no matter how parasitically enhanced he becomes, is still a geek.

While Medicom didn't create a mail-away MJ for him to beat on (which would have made this release SO complete) expect this gallery to be put up sometime soon.

It's great to see that even after all of these years Kaiyodo still give HOKUTO NO KEN the excellent treatment that franchise deserves. The 200X line is one of the oldest and best quality action figure lines ever.

This latest addition to the line is no different as we have here the box set of Kokuoh-Go and Kenshiro, one-eight action figures. Just like that Raoh and Kokuoh-Go release from a couple of years back, this one has a the same Kokuoh-Go (the horse, AKA Black King) that came with that one except the head sculpt is different (with rag over the eye) to reflect the time period at the end of the series.

Kenshiro himself is a brand new figure. He can stand on his own as a articulated figure and comes with his cape to also reflect the later time period of the series (post Raoh storyline and time jump.That and it's my personal favorite version of him). Needless to say Henshin Hiobby will have a gallery of it when it comes out.

There is another version of this that comes with the upcoming release of the HD DVD box set of the original anime series. Not sure what exactly that version looks like but we'll let you know when we do.

Big news out there in anime land. 2008 will bring us the latest (and long awaited) Macross series, MACROSS F.

In case the title wasn't blatant enough, the F stands for Frontier.

For those who wondered what, if anything was going to happen for Macross' 25 anniversary (goddamn I feel old). Well wonder no more. We don't know how long the show will be (in terms of episode count) but we do have a nice little teaser trailer.

So commence fangasming... now!

Kaiyodo has done an incredible job with their Hokuto No Ken busts series. The prior sets were masterfully sculpted by MATSUURA KEN and now a new set sculpted by someone else is coming soon.

Kaiyodo have a Kenshiro and Raoh set ready to be released at the end of the year (FYI - these are stand alone busts that don't connect to each other). They look very good but it's kinda odd to see someone else sculpt Kenshiro and Raoh. I've gotten so use to Matsuura Ken's style that it became my default sculpt look for a lot of the characters. I guess we'll see how these look in person. These are a bigger scale as they are one-sixth in size as opposed to the one-tenth-ish size the prior sets were.

Kenshiro goes for 6,800 yen (61 USD)

The news on this broke out just recently but I wanted to wait until we've gotten some more detailed info and well, here it is. Below are images including one that tells us what the bonus pieces are for both versions of these highly anticipated one-sixth.

The big news is that the bonus part for FIGURE A comes with boxing gloves and the outfit he wore in the beginning of the ETD movie where he fought a young Samo Hung. It's a nice bonus that would make it hard for people to choose which figure version they want.

Ok yeah sure.

It's another Code Geass gallery teaser. Seems to me that uh, we actually like this show. And honestly it's damn good. I'm watching it now so that means that I'm a year behind everyone else on this site. Still, the show kicks ten shades of ass (I have no idea what a kicked ten shaded ass looks like but I think it can't be pretty to look at) and thusly we'll post some merch of that show here.

Well here it is. The beginning of the a new monthly feature which gives my opinions on the new Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam OO (機動戦士ガンダム00) from Sunrise. This is not a blow by blow account of each and every episode. There are plenty of Gundam vets out there who can help you out with that.

These are just my thoughts on this series... and when it comes to these little writings I plan on being short.

Well looks like Takashi Miike has a big hits on his hands! CROWS has earned the number one spot not only that but according to the piece below it looks to be his highest grossing movie ever.

Personally I can't wait to see this movie myself and hopefully I'll be able to see it very, very soon. For those who have forgotten the trailer I posted previously here it is again.

Except this time you know you're watching the trailer of the number one movie in Japan.
