Wow while another Superman isn't that big a deal (except for those who missed out on him the first time) this one is a TWO in ONE Clark Kent Superman. Meaning you get to change his clothes to whatever persona you want him to be. Basically this will be the only Superman you'll ever need from HT. You get your Clark Kent and you get your Superman.
However the big news is that Jor-El will be released also. It's almost a dream piece. It's the Marlon Brando Jor El from the Richard Donner Superman Universe. Yeah that's a pretty big damn deal. Not much to see for the moment but check out the picture below. I felt that the release would be Brando and not the silver traveling suit that Superman had at the beginning of Superman Returns (which was a strong rumor).
Maybe one day HT will give us THE dream peice for us Super-fans; the Christopher Reeve one-sixth Superman. One can dream right?
Both are set for a December 2007 release (needless to say I'm getting two of each. you know, in case there is a fire or something and I can only frantically save one).

I was suppose to buy the original hot toys clark kent version a few hours after i got out of office right now, good thing I saw your announcement, now i do not know if i would still buy the clark kent version or just wait for the 2-in-1 version, although i'm sure that one is going to cost a lot not to mention the limited supply. And its still 2 months before it hits the market

Honestly I like the original release of Clark more. That's just me. I'm perfectly fine with the original Clark Kent. I like the default looking face and the trench coat he comes with.
This New Superman does look better. Not by a whole bunch but the costume is more accurate and the head sculpt is nice.
