Now when I first got this piece I couldn't help but laugh at how appropriate a subject like Hellboy would be for an Eric So URBAN VINYL figure. That and I laughed because he looked funny. Not funny wierd but funny "ha ha'. I don't own many URBAN VINYL'S but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to grab a Hellboy one. I was in my... *ahem* "Hellboy phase" thanks to the 2004 movie and the awesome comic by Mike Mignola.
Well after I got my Vinyl I was in a glass case of emotions. Literally the UPS guy took forever to arrive. After much pacing and swearing I got it. It arrived right before my friends showed up. And then it was pointed out to me that my Hellboy Vinyl... that beautifully round-belly figure had a certificate that said number six out of a thousand. That's 006/1000 my friends. That night was truly metal.

Back again today with a very special gallery for all you retro manga fans! Today's subject is the Medicom Stylish collection Devilman and Akira Fudo! Most of you are probably more used to how Devilman looks today but these 1/6 scale figures immortalize the original image of that Go Nagai brought to us more than 30 years ago that many fans outside of asia probably are unaware of. These figures look like they jumped right out of the original Go Nagai manga from 1972!! Paying homage to the classics, this is quite an impressive set -_^ Go Check out the Gallery!

The action pose really brings out the beauty of the design and truly brings KOS-MOS to life! With all their awesome releases, Alter is definetly one of my favorite figure makers this year. Chalk this one up to me being lazy. I've had her for a while but have been lazy to put her up. I like this one a lot and is I think the best Supergirl figure ever made. Not saying much since there aren't that many out there but I like the metallic blue color scheme Takara gave her and I really dig the face. Now there are some that say that she's too anime looking. Which is true. However since I am an anime fan and am tired of mediocre looking Supergirl heads and expressions I'm glad they went with this approach. She looks damn nice an I like how this one is based off the current version Kara Zor-El.
Ok, I know this isn't the Matrix/Linda Danvers/Angelic version. Personally I liked that one a lot but hey what are you going to do? In 20 years Crisis 3 will give us another Supergirl. Until then however, enjoy this one!

Ah, The SDCC Toynami Exclusive Naruto Kyubi Statue. I noticed there are not many galleries for this statue around, well I guess with only 200 pcs you dont have too many to go around eh? Well I took it upon myself to make a gallery of this statue for you guys. It is quite and incredible piece and captures Naruto in a very intense moment bringing out the powers of the Kyubi to protect those special to him. Check out the Gallery!

FINALLY!! It's HERE!! Last week we put up the Gallery of 1/6 Ayanami Rei and this week We put up Asuka 1/6!! Eva fans rejoice! Asuka is a great figure and it was very exciting and challenging to pose her as she is a very expressive character and I wanted to bring that out with the 1/6. How she compares to Rei you ask? OK! OK! So it's not a Japanese Piece but man, you gotta admit it's impressive ^-^ This is the new 1/4 scale Iron Man Comiquette released by Sideshow Collectibles. This is also the Exclusive version with optional Tony Stark Head Which is Only available with the Exclusive. The Metallic Finish is absolutely Incredible and the overall feel and look of the statue is just WOW. This is in my opinion the BEST Iron Man statue ever done. Hell the Best Iron Man figure period! One of the Greatest Toys in history has a gallery here. The 200X Raoh and Kokuoh Gou ULTIMATE FINAL BOXSET has to be seen to be believed!! Ever since the introduction of the Hokuto No Ken 200X line we were all waiting for the day Kaiyodo would go all out and make us a Raoh and Kokuoh set in the 200X scale. Well our prayers have been answered!! Today, we got the photographer to take pictures of one of my favorite PVC statues of my all time favorite characters, Rei and Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Not that you guys wouldn't know who they are, they are quite iconic after all. ^-^
Not much else to say but please take a look! It's very beautiful and totally a must for all Evangelion fans!
There have been Many interpretations of Kasumi in the figure world. I'd have to say that even with all the Incredible ones out there this one is definetly one of my favorite. Katayama's Sculpt captures the very essence of the character, very innocent like a child, yet very sexy and feminine. Our favorite Runaway Kunoichi has been done justice. Max Factory has done an Incredible job making this Once Kit only figure a nice Completed PVC statue. It's a Hot piece, Definetly a treat for all Kasumi fans! -_^

Another Gallery!!! This time it's the lovely Ignis from popular pc game Jingai Makyo. This is the BOME rendition and thus is part of the popular Bome Collection from Kaiyodo. Ignis is vol.13, She's been out in Japan for a month or two now but just released here in the states last week via Diamond for the low price of $24.99 as opposed to the Orig JP SRP of 4500yen.
Ignis is quite the popular gal these days with every figure maker popping out their own versions before the end of the year. This is not surprising as you can see that Ignis is quite a looker. Big Treat for all You Char and Amuro fans! Bandai has annouced ans shown pics of 2 upcoming pieces all you Char and Amuro fans cannot surely live without! First up is the HCM Pro RX-93 NU Gundam a follow up to the Uber Popular Sazabi HCM Pro released this past summer. The HCM Pro NU has all you would expect from this high quality 1/200 scale line. It even continues the NU Tradition and has Diecast parts!!! This is a Must buy for All Gundam fans! Release is scheduled for October 2006 and the Price is 2800yen (2940 w/tax)
Next up is the Obligatory Bandai Double dip we've all been waiting for!! A Special Painted version of the HCM Pro Sazabi!! This release will have all the goodness of the original HCM Pro Sazabi but with a New Metallic Red Finish and new markings!! Even though I own the first one, I have to admit that this one is pretty hot and that I'll definetly be picking one up. Release is scheduled for November 2006 and the Price is 4500yen (4725 w/tax)

Medicom has announced and shown pictures of their upcoming Medicom 1/6 of Ginko the protagonist from the Award winning anime Mushi-shi, also a Manga (Great Series) ^-^ Man, Medicom is surely going to get a lot of my money in the next several months.!! Just look at him, he looks incredible! Another sure hit by the genius production team at Medicom toy. Ginko will be released next year in January 2007 for the price of 16800yen.

I've got great news to all Kingdom Hearts fans! The Play Arts are out in Japan!!!
These are in scale with the Final Fantasy Play Arts from FF VII, VIII, X and X-2!
Axel of course must come with his huge Chakrams. His arms are very nicely molded too!
Kairi is in her blue school outfit instead of her pink outfit. And she comes with her school bag :D
Roxas has a very serious face and comes with his keyblade.
And last but not least, Sora! He too has a very determined face and comes with his regular keyblade.

Bandai shows pictures of the 4th series of the Popular "Bleach Characters" Trading figure collection. Lineup includes Ichigo in regular and Hollow mask version, 9th Division Lt. Shūhei Hisagi, 3rd Division Lt. Izuru Kira and a new version of the ever popular Hitsugaya Toshirou (10th Division captain) unleashing his Bankai Dai Guren Hyōrinmaru!! Lineup is 5 figures which I'm guessing Bandai is being mean again and is making the 2 Ichigos separate figures even though the only difference will be the heads. Although the Ichigos have been the stars of the last 2 sets, I'm guessing Hitsugaya being the most impressive figure in the set this time around will probably be the fan's favorite -_^ Release will be in December and the retail for each figure will be 550yen and boxes of 8 will go for 4400yen
