Medicom News: Regular Releases...
And here we are!
First up is the legendary, iconic, mysterious Captain Harlock. Known for mostly looking cool and giving speeches on what a boy must do in his life to be a MAN (he and Kenshiro should get together and pen a tome of MAN or something) this is actually a 2.0 Captain Harlock medicom. The first one came out years ago (and I mean years) and at one time fetched 800 bucks on the secondary market. Yep believe it. This Leiji Matsumoto creation is something I can blab about forever but I won't. I will say that this looks 100% fantastic in every single detail. If you have a pair of balls and call yourself a man you must get this (too much?).
And now we have Kamen Rider Black RX. Ok, this is a mixed bag for some. Yes he's cool and he's got a light saber (and multiple forms and a car. You can tell this was in the 80's when the Japanese economy was kicking ass because Black RX had every weapon and vehicle you can think of). Some really dug the series and some didn't. After all this was the sequel to Black but it might as well have been a different timeline. It's a mixed bag but cool regardless.
This is the Dark Knight version of the suit from the movie The Dark Knight. Looks great, looks awesome. Another great outfit by Medicom.
If I were August Ragone I'd rattle off tons of shit about Ultraman Leo. Sadly I ain't August Ragone but you don't have to be to fully appreciate how nice Leo looks. I admit I was never into the Ultra stuff but they do look great together on a shelf. :)
And here's mister Space pimp himself Mr. Han Solo. Looks nice, looks great. Am I going to buy it? NO. I already have my Return of the Jedi Vader so I'm happy for life. But since this is the year of Harrison Ford 1/6 I guess one more can't hurt and he looks really, really nice.

Funny thing about that. Drives were damaged... images were lost... babies cried. It was like the Titanic but less epic.

You kow some people just dazzle me with their work. It's very humbling and Hock is one of those people. I love going to his site (which is linked to this blog, lower right hand side) and he posts stuff that I really enjoy. Here are some more pieces of digital art.

Going through the old news updates I noticed a Medicom that Black Jackie 999

Pleasantly Surprising Many fans this past week with it's appearance, Medicom has revealed pictures of the next figure in their Star Wars 1/6 line The former Mandalorian Supercommando and Bounty Hunter Jango Fett . After the announcement of their incredible Boba Fett 1/6 Last year, Many fans were hoping to see Jango get the Medi treatment. Well the months pass and Medicom has answered the call of Fett fans all over the world. Jango will include all the accessories shown in the pictures (Blasters, Helmet, armor, etc.) and will feature an authentic likeness of Actor Temuera Morrison. Jango will be released this October in Japan for the price of 18000yen
This is a Gallery Dedicated to Friendship. Many fans have grown up with Pokemon over the years and altho many of them have grown out of it by now. One cannot forget the Strong and Unbeatable friendship these 2 characters Satoshi (Ash) and Pikachu share. These characters have been through the toughest of battles together through loss and defeat, glory and victory. To this day they continue to fight on as the Best of friends! Let's hope that these 2 characters continue their journey and achieve their dreams together! To Become the Greatest Pokemon Master!!!! and Pokemon ^_^
I'm sure some might say that I enjoyed doing that to a Superman figure. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I'm just tired of my favorite character being given such terrible merchandise. From those terrible Mattel Superman Returns Figures to that recently released DC Direct 1/4 Museum Quality statue he's been on the receiving end of such terrible products. It's a frustrating process that leaves this one Superman fan expecting the worse instead of hoping for the best.

Yesterday marked Bruce Lee's 66th Birthday!! This is my Dedication to him, A Gallery of one of his most accurate 1/6 figure available on the market. This took me a Long time to do but hopefully you all will like it. Bruce may be gone but he is definetly not forgotten. To this day he continues to inspire me and many others to our own self truth and liberation.

Well I said I'd be back didn't I? Well I can't very well spend all this money on Superman 1/6 figures without having SOME opinion about them (just an FYI - I buy multiple figs. I do that for virtually everything I collect). I always planned on having a page like this the moment I heard that several companies were going to take their shot at a Superman Returns 12". Well I finally got the Medicom so now I was able to put this page together.
